It wasn't even my cat... My daughter moved to Baltimore from another state and her cat took a serious tumble, suffering paralysis from his mid-section to his tail. I transported him in because she was a new mother and couldn't leave the babies. The staff was so supportive in their efforts to treat him, it felt as if they had always known him (and me). They are thorough, compassionate and efficient--from the receptionist to the vet. The facility itself is clean and pleasant--and a very well run institution.
Parkville Animal Hospital was able to give us a same day appointment as a new patient when I suspected my dog was having a life threatening emergency. They gave me price estimates before performing diagnostics and were very patient with all my questions and concerns. I had to take my dog to a different place for surgery (bc of my financial situation) but I look forward to coming back here for annual doggie check ups and meds. Everyone was so kind.
I feel very comfortable bringing my cats here. I was recommended to use them about a year ago when my cat WOO was not doing well. They were always available and always honest but at a fair price. When Mr. WOO passed they all told me how sorry they were. It was genuine and heartfelt
Dr. Jess and the assistants were all very pleasant and informal. At the same time, very professional and efficient. They're all animal-lovers you can tell. My big dog likes it there too!
We have taken our pets to Parkville Animal Hospital for a long time. About 20 yrs. We find Dr Mangini. and his staff to be very caring. They have always been very honest about our pets treatments. They are very compassionate. I can't say enough about them. They are the BEST.
