Always a good trip, decent prices. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. My dog loves to visit as well. Wide selection of food, treats, toys. Has a cat adoption center through Lucky Cat Rescue. Large variety of fish. Has birds, reptiles, and other small pets. If you need it for your pet, it's here.
This is the absolute worst Petco I have ever been in. I had my dog groomed here. For those of you that do not know, Bordatella is a shot given to dogs to prevent getting kennel cough. It is only effective against bacterial kennel cough, not viral. I am very careful with my dogs. It is the backyard and no other dogs. The latter is the one he got from this place. Dirty and smelly store. Now I have a dog with a chronic condition. They of course will disclaim it. The odor of the grooming area is unmistakable though. Don't take your dog here.
Went in this store today and it was the most disgusting pet store I have ever been in. As soon as I walk in it smelled like the hippo house at the zoo. The floor is filthy and the animals are not taken care of very well at all. I could not stay in there more than 3 minutes. I would not buy anything at that store not even an artificial plant. So dirty that everything may be contaminated. If I could give this place a -100 stars I would.
Stay away form David he's a real weirdo. I had to get a manager to sell me a guinea pig cause this dude basically wanted me to be certified in guinea pig rearing or something. Wouldn't allow me to purchase anything without hearing his scpheal first. Eventually he explained to me that if I didn't want to hear what he had to say maybe he shouldn't sell me a guniea pig. This is all going on with my 7 year old daughter next to me BTW. I mean I have a lot of animals and although i didn't have any guineas then, it IS something I grew up around and felt plenty comfortable owing. Any the guinea pigs are doing great and even come out to play with our cat and dog :) Stay away from the pet Nazi though.....
