The employees was very help To me and my mom. They where helpful and help us find What we was looking for. I will shop there again
I searched for in stock inventory at the store and at Lowe's. Lowe's had a comparable door in stock but the door was damaged while removing it from the shelf. Lowe's offered a steep discount on the damaged door which I did not accept. Lowe's did offer a fair resolution on a replacement door but it would not arrive in time for my install.
It might be difficult to find someone to help (other days, you trip over staff trying to help), but the staff always go beyond what I expect. They will check back to make sure I found something, lumber cutters are very precise work measurements and offer extra pieces, often not charged for cuts. My preferred Home Depot in the Baltimore area.
Unhappy about the situation Home Depot put me in but cognizant of the fact there are ramifications for rescheduling the contractors, I chose to go back to Home Depot and pick up the damaged door and repair on my own. Ishmael was working the online pick-up desk when I arrived and asked me some questions. When I disclosed what had happened, he did apologize and offered to reach out to the supplier the following morning to see if a replacement could be shipped and expedited. I accepted the offer. He committed to providing me feedback the following day. Needless to say, I have never received a phone call.
Guards hound u at the exit for a Receipt even know they seen you in line or watched you pay for everything in your cart. Definitely won't return to that home depot because of the guards making u feel like your in prison.
I purchased a number of different products online for a bathroom project that were shipped to the store. One item was a sliding barn door. Immediately upon my inspection at the time of pick-up, I noticed a crack at the base of the door and a number of chips throughout the finish. All of the other boxes were opened and "inspected" but somehow the damage was missed on a door simply covered in clear plastic. The Associate offered a refund or they could order a new door that would arrive in 12 business days. Since we already had contractors scheduled, I opted to put the order on hold while I searched for a replacement door. The Associate did not offer to help locate something in stock or provide any assistance outside of his "job" of either refunding or returning items.
Clean location, staff was helpful with finding items, paint department got my paint done within ten minutes or less. The employees get what you need, but generally they seem to talk amongst themselves and customers tend to feel like they're just part of their daily grind. Not a big deal, but doesn't make for anything special. Good location to just get what you need and get out.
