I have been renting with AVIS for a very long time, mostly on and off, the longest 6 consecutive months. while AVIS may not be well known as Enterprise as I heard of AVIS 13 months later after my first rental with Enterprise, I was surprised why i never heard of AVIS Car Rental in the first place. in my opinion and experience with the two i have used, AVIS stand out far better. There cars are on average well maintained and like new from location to location and often feature stylish models at well below Enterprise Rates. This location which i visited recently is convenient to get to though hidden from plain view and is quite friendly and very welcoming.

Picked this location over the closer one in Towson due to better reviews. Reserved car ahead of time for pickup at noon on day of travel. Only car available has just been returned, has very little gas in the tank and smells of cigarettes. While I understand that this was obviously a newly returned vehicle, having made a prior reservation why was there no other option available, since having a reservation would seem to indicate that there would actually be a car reserved at that time?
I needed a 12 passenger van to rent for my daughter's birthday party. This was the only place, other then the airport, that I could find. I was so pleased with the entire process at Avis. The van was basically brand new and easy to drive. The rental office was nice and their hours were exactly what I needed. Most of the local rental places had hours on Saturdays, but very few were open on Sundays. I will definitely be using Avis Car Rental in Parkville again!
