Also, something to consider. If you make a medium sized crab cake, you will most likely only see 20 crab cakes. My recommendation would be to add some filler (breadcrumbs) to increase the amount of crab cakes you have a the party.
The Sports bar "where everyone knows your name " is tons of fun. The guys, and girls, behind the bar really do remember you are friendly, courteous and really good at their jobs.
This was my first time eating at Pappas on Taylor Avenue. I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful courtesy from servers who weren't even serving my table. Our server was Dan and he was superior to places I've eaten before. I loved the ambience of the white tablecloths, red napkins, and clean silverware. Also the price of a 2-crabcake dinner was very reasonable. I would certainly recommend Pappas to my friends.
Pappas has the best crab cakes in Maryland!! We love going here! I love all of their awesome foods!!!It's cozy and such along with a great atmosphere ! I've had both sitting inside the restaurant and carryout services! They're both awesome! The staff are amazing
This place is for older folks.. like 65+. It's a quiet sit down place.. foods not bad, but not great. Crab cake was a bit fishy tasting and the prime rib was so fatty, there wasn't much to eat. Sides were really good.
I ordered the 50oz bucket of Crab Cake mix and OMG.. It was amazing. There was no shells in the mix and it was pure meat! I would gladly keep coming back every year because the crab cakes were a hit! The only thing I failed to do was try the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce because I left home when I went to my party.
Restaurant or Sports bar can't miss with either. I've had family get togethers with groups 8 years to yep 98 years old everyone pleased as punch
If it's your first time there just ask for Tom, he's a customer he'll give you an idea of how nice the clientele are. You'll fall in love with the place.
