Anyway, a long review for what boils down to lack of management oversight. Crack down on the lazy employees, or incentivize them to do what they are being paid to do. Long waits to trade in tickets when you're the only one in line is unacceptable. It's not a one-time ordeal. It happens virtually every time we go.
Had a great time! Clean environment and bathrooms; friendly staff; good food! What a great way to spend time with the kids.
My ring got stuck in a game and a worker immediately helped me out. That was the only good experience I had. The staff doesn’t pay attention to the food orders (waited 45 minutes for ONE pizza). And if you’re standing in line, they’ll just stand around until they’re ready to answer you.
We will likely be traveling further to a different location from now on. I hope to find one with staff that cares about their jobs.
Nice time though they seem to have reduced the ticket payout (while upping be the prize cost) since my last visit.
There's one employee who seems to be the one who picks up all of the slack. I understand this is a minimum wage job, and it's mostly younger people working. It doesn't excuse the total lack of any hustle or motivation.
Ordinarily, I'm an extremely patient person. It seems every time we come here there are a handful of employees who can be seen lounging in the back, while the lines pile up. We regularly have to wait 5-10 minutes just for an employee to walk out of the back to cash in our ticket coupons. This is after I can see multiple employees walk by and look at us waiting. At one visit, we wanted to cash in for an item on the wall, labeled as costing 600 tickets. We had around 1000, and the girl informed us that the item was labeled wrong, and it was actually 700. Change the sign if you know it's incorrectly labeled. While talking to the girl, another young boy walks up with a voucher of 600 tickets, and gets that same item from a second employee working, without any issue. Many of the staff are dismissive and somewhat rude, which doesn't earn business when you're in a customer service environment.
It's cleaner than my local Chuck E Cheese, so I travel the extra distance to bring my toddler here. We try to go once or twice a month, almost always on a Saturday or Sunday around lunch time.
We enjoyed ourselves at this Location compared to the Rt 40 location. We went between 4-5 on a Friday, it wasn't crowded at all. I hope to come back again.
