I don't receive half of my mail!
Physically entering and exiting is typically difficult, the lines are long, they have an hour lunch break where it's actually closed, and other difficult post office stuff. If you're getting a passport, apparently the post office in Pasadena is the place to go
A final point of critique is the parking situation here is abysmal. But the US Post Office by nature is a fairly sucktackular organization in general. Expecting awesomeness 9 out of 10 times is wasted expectation to begin with due to this Federal entities inherent nature.
This location seriously needs to get red pilled. So first, its always been very, very, very poorly managed. There is nothing to delineate where the line begins and various info aids to help you are not placed conveniently for people to browse through well ahead of time while waiting in the very long lines that plague this place.
VERY recently, I saw an episode where a man, waiting in line, was just trying to save some time by picking up an information pamphlet at one of the teller desks. The female rep. behind the counter became psychotically belligerent demanding that the pamphlet be brought back. The man tossed the pamphlet back on the desk to which the psycho behind the counter practically foamed at the mouth, lied about being assaulted by the man, and then went to the back to allegedly make a call to the police about this so-called-incident. The manager came out and talked to the man. I didn't hear the conversation in detail between the two, but it ended with the poor fellow saying he would never come back. Unfortunately it will of course do little to remedy the situation as this is one of the those government institutions that can thrive on the utilization of horrible people to run their day to day activities. Kinda like Virginia DMV. I know these types of jobs aren't going to attract the best or brightest but my God the needless drama you'll see in places like this because of...
Lines are long but move quick good service
The staff here is pretty bad. Rather flippant, gave family members a hard time in the past and total drama queens. If you need clarification on something or trying to explain something to them, you could easily get someone who just blows off what you initially tried to explain to them. You will thus leave without attaining the info you felt you required.
So when you enter the place, its pretty chaotic looking and things are usually scattered about the place without any thought. And there is always a line in here and I know its due to inefficiency. More on all this later.
Misdelivered mail happens a bit too often, and occasionally very late (like after 5pm) delivery. I'm not sure if it's a staffing problem or what.
